Rockstar Games has officially commented on a fire that broke out this morning at its main office, confirming that nobody was harmed and that GTA VI development continues normally.
According to Rockstar’s statement:
"Please note that everyone is safe, and our studio continues working as usual."
The fire reportedly occurred in the boiler area of the building, with emergency services responding after a call was made around 05:02. Police and fire crews were on the scene and the office was subsequently closed indefinitely due to structural damage.
While the exact cause of the fire hasn’t been revealed yet, social media was full of worried comments from fans hoping that nothing related to GTA VI (such as test builds or hardware) was affected.
For now, Rockstar’s reassurance that the team and development remain unaffected should ease the majority of concerns.
