New reports suggest that GTA VI may launch digitally first, while the physical disc version could arrive later.
According to insider claims and a report from Polish outlet PPE, Rockstar may delay the disc release to reduce the risk of early leaks and spoilers. Physical copies often reach stores and buyers before launch, and that can lead to game files being extracted and shared online weeks in advance.
Rockstar has dealt with similar situations in the past, and some fans believe the studio wants to avoid a repeat of major pre-release leaks.
The rumored gap between digital and physical editions could range from around three weeks to a couple of months.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but if Rockstar really wants to keep GTA VI locked down until release day, a digital-first launch would be one of the smartest ways to do it.
