Rumors about GTA VI being delayed to September 22 have started circulating online after a screenshot allegedly showing a message from Rockstar Games appeared on social media.
According to unverified insiders, the image was claimed to be a prepared article on Rockstar’s website announcing an upcoming delay later this year. However, the situation turned out to be far less dramatic.
The supposed “announcement” can be easily created by any user through basic browser tools by editing a website’s page code while preserving its structure. Because of this, the screenshot has no credibility.
As of now, there is no official confirmation from Rockstar Games, and the rumor should be treated as yet another fake designed to generate noise around GTA VI.
