Take-Two Interactive has shared new details about GTA VI during its latest financial report, giving fans a clearer idea of what to expect.

GTA VI Release Window Narrowed

The company confirmed that GTA VI is now planned for fall 2025, narrowing down the previously broad release window.

CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that Take-Two is “very confident” in this timeline and continues to believe Rockstar will deliver an exceptional final product.

Confidence in the Game Keeps Growing

Zelnick also emphasized that expectations for GTA VI’s commercial success are increasing, with strong confidence in Rockstar’s ability to deliver a standout experience.

At the same time, the company’s financial forecast suggests that the game may have originally been planned for an earlier 2025 release, before being internally shifted toward fall.

No New Trailer Yet

Despite expectations from some fans and bloggers, no new trailer or screenshots were shown during the report. Take-Two simply noted that Rockstar will share more information “in due time.”

Other Highlights From the Report

The earnings report also revealed several milestones:

  1. GTA V has now sold over 200 million copies
  2. Red Dead Redemption 2 has surpassed 64 million copies
  3. The Borderlands series has reached around 86 million copies sold

Overall, while the report didn’t bring new footage, it did confirm one key thing - GTA VI is officially targeting fall 2025, and Take-Two is standing firmly behind that plan.
