New information suggests that GTA VI Online could support up to 32 players per session, similar to the current limits in GTA Online.
The report comes from journalist Chris Pratt of People Make Games, who reportedly obtained the detail from printed court documents connected to Rockstar’s ongoing legal situation involving fired employees.
According to the documents, Rockstar confirmed that former staff members openly discussed this multiplayer information, which allegedly played a role in their termination due to serious NDA violations.
Alongside the player-count detail, rumors also claim that GTA VI’s online mode might be available at launch, rather than arriving later like GTA Online did after GTA V.
Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but if the 32-player cap is real, Rockstar may be focusing more on stability and world detail rather than increasing lobby size.
