Less than two days have passed since the release of the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, and in that short time, it has already achieved remarkable results.
In just the first 33 hours after the trailer's premiere, it accumulated over 100 million views and nearly 5 million likes on YouTube. This makes it the most-watched non-music video on YouTube within the first 24 hours of release.
The video has also become the most popular upload on Rockstar Games' channel, surpassing even the first trailer for GTA 5, which accumulated only about 95 million views over 12 years!
The trailer revealed that GTA 6 is set for release in 2025 for the latest generation of consoles. For the first time in GTA history, one of the main characters will be a woman—Lucia—who, along with co-protagonist Jason, will be pulling off criminal schemes in the gritty streets of Vice City.
