Leonida Keys
Contents
Description
The Leonida Keys are an archipelago located in southern Mariana County, forming a chain of tropical islands off the southern coast of Leonida. Surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and the Straits of Leonida, the region represents the southernmost part of the continental United States.
Geography
The Leonida Keys are situated within Mariana County and are connected to the mainland via the Keys Causeway, which begins in southern Vice-Dale County. The route extends in a curved path south-southwest before turning westward, linking multiple islands across the archipelago.
The region is also suggested to have been affected by Hurricane Roxy prior to recent events.
Influence
The Leonida Keys are closely inspired by the Florida Keys, a well-known chain of islands located off the southern coast of Florida. This influence is reflected in the geography, layout of the islands, and the presence of long connecting bridges.
