After a wide panoramic view, the camera moves in closer and introduces us to Jason's Safehouse. He’s sitting on the roof, casually repairing it, when his employer — and the owner of the house — Brian Heder pulls up. A short conversation takes place between them, giving us an early glimpse into their dynamic.

These shots also give us a much clearer look at the characters’ vehicles. Jason is driving the Vapid Creado, while Brian arrives in a Vapid Caracara 4x4.
At the same time, the level of detail in the world once again stands out. You can spot a raccoon climbing out of a trash container, incredibly realistic dirt buildup on the vehicles, and a noticeable improvement in character models — especially in how their bodies and animations are rendered.
Shots 9-15
The following shots shift focus to Jason’s everyday routine, giving us a better sense of his lifestyle. We see him driving across different parts of the state — from the laid-back roads of the Leonida Keys to the more urban areas of Vice City, specifically around Peacock Bay.
The trailer also makes it clear what kind of work Jason is involved in. He’s shown carrying out jobs for Brian Heder, mainly collecting debts. One scene in particular stands out — Jason empties out a pawn shop register after beating down the clerk, making it pretty obvious how he gets things done.
Despite that, Jason comes across as a surprisingly charismatic character. Even the residents of Leonida seem to notice. In one moment, a local woman in the Keys greets him in a friendly way, and in another, girls on the beach can’t help but look his way while he’s lifting weights.
That said, Jason is far from a clean-cut, disciplined type. In one shot, he’s seen walking out of a convenience store carrying a case of beer. And once again, the level of detail is hard to ignore — even something as small as the bubbles inside the bottles is rendered with insane precision.
Shots 16-21
The next shots bring us to the long-awaited meeting between Jason and Lucia. Jason arrives at a prison complex to pick her up, briefly speaking with a guard before she’s released.

From the way they look at each other, it’s immediately clear that their connection runs deep. There’s a genuine sense of emotion in this moment — it doesn’t feel forced. You can tell they truly care about each other and are willing to go through a lot together.
The sequence ends with an intimate scene between Jason and Lucia, setting a more personal tone for their relationship, before transitioning into the iconic Rockstar Games Presents title card.
